Chris Jericho's WWE debut is one of the most memorable of all time, and it included two of the biggest stars professional wrestling has ever seen.

Back in 1999 there was a ton of anticipation for the new year as we would be heading into "The New Millenium" in the year 2000. For several weeks WWE was showcasing a countdown timer for The New Millenium, and when it finally finished counting down it was one of the best moments in WWE history.

The Rock was in the middle of cutting a promo in the center of the ring on the August 9th episode of Monday Night RAW in 1999 when he was interrupted by the final countdown from the timer.

After the timer ran out Chris Jericho's music hit and the crowd went nuts for the former WCW Cruiserweight star. He and The Rock then began a verbal exchange, and the rest - as they say - is history.

Jericho was recently interviewed by The Cult Of Whatever to get his thoughts on his WWE debut ahead of RAW 25 tonight (Mon. January 22, 2018), and said he believes it's 'definitely' one of the best of all time (quotes via SESCoops):

“It was definitely one of the best debuts ever,” said Jericho. “I came up with the idea of the countdown clock and Vince McMahon came up with the idea of having the clock end right in the middle of Rocks promo.

"I think that is the biggest reaction I had ever got, a lot of people knew it was going to me but there were also a lot of people that didn’t have a clue.

"It was a different world back then, the internet wasn’t like it is today, these days you would just go online and you can find things out right away but it wasn’t like that then.”

What are your thoughts on Jericho saying that his WWE debut is 'definitely' one of the greatest of all time?
