Manchester United broke the internet when they announced the signing of Alexis Sanchez on Monday evening.
The Red Devils posted a glorious video on Twitter of the Chilean playing the piano and stepping on the Old Trafford turf.
The tweet has already attracted more than 6.5 million views and 150,000 retweets.
Clubs are getting more and more creative with how they use social media, from Yeovil’s incredible announcement videos last summer to Bristol City and their goals gifs.
And if these sorts of clubs are thinking outside-the-box with how they use social media, you just know that Manchester United are going to do the same.
They certainly trumped Arsenal with their coverage of their latest signing. The Gunners announced Henrikh Mkhitaryan with a simple message - “Welcome to Arsenal, @HenrikhMkh 👊” - and a link to an article on their website with more detail about the Armenian’s arrival.
And it seems as though Man United have inspired other football clubs with their Sanchez effort.
Motherwell just posted a brilliant video
Scottish Premiership outfit Motherwell are the talk of the town right now after they posted a video that takes off the Sanchez one to announce the signing of Peter Hartley from Blackpool.
It’s a hilarious effort that has deservedly gone viral. Check it out below.

Sanchez: Man United has always been a dream
Sanchez finally completed his move to Man Utd after the club agreed a deal with Arsenal that saw Mkhitaryan head to north London.
The 29-year-old would go on to admit that playing for the Red Devils has always been his dream.
"Since I was a young lad I've always said that my dream was to play for Manchester United, and I'm not just saying that because I'm here now and today it's come true," he told MUTV, per Sky Sports.
"I always said as a kid that I'd like to play for United and I once spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson about it.
“We chatted for around 20 minutes. And I told him that my dream was to come here to Manchester United.”
