Neymar has once again been making headlines for Paris Saint-Germain over the past couple of weeks, for both positive and negative reasons.

While the Brazilian may have scored four goals during the 8-0 win over Dijon last Wednesday, his fourth came from the penalty spot when Edinson Cavani had the chance to make history.

It was Cavani who actually won the penalty, yet Neymar picked up the ball to deny the Uruguayan the chance to become PSG's all-time record goalscorer.

Cavani scored his 156th goal against Dijon to equal Zlatan Ibrahimovic's haul but was forced to wait to claim the record as his own.

PSG fans booed Neymar for not giving the penalty to Cavani, which Thiago Silva insists didn't annoy the Brazil winger.

"No, I do not think he was angry when he left," Silva told Canal+, per Goal. "There were some of the supporters against him, but the most important thing is the final score and the win.

"And for Edi, the record will come. He scores all the time, there are still a lot of games to play this year, he will beat all records."

Neymar didn't give the penalty to Cavani because he didn't realise he was one goal away from breaking Ibrahimovic's goalscoring record.

Regardless of his reasoning, PSG fans aren't happy with Neymar at the moment and according to L'Equipe his reaction wasn't anything like what Silva claims.

Neymar was left stunned by PSG fans booing him having just scored four goals and he's now considering whether or not he has a future in Paris.

L'Equipe add that Neymar has told friends he finds Ligue 1 too defensive and physical, reinforcing the notion that he isn't enjoying his football.

This latest report on Neymar and PSG will peak the interest of Real Madrid, who are said to be interested in signing the 25-year-old this summer.

It's also been claimed Neymar would be prepared to take a pay cut in order to join Los Blancos, though we're not too sure about that one.
