There is one WWE Hall of Famer who thinks the WWE should bring back Hulk Hogan.

TMZ recently spoke with WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page and during the interview, the former WCW World Champion stated that he thinks that WWE needs to allow Hogan to return to the company.

Here is what he had to say: “Hulk has to come back. I’m hoping that that gets seen on the WWE side.”

There’s no doubt that one of the biggest names that WWE and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon ever created was Hulk Hogan. He has been a household name in the world of professional wrestling for decades now.

He has wrestled some of the biggest names in the history of pro wrestling, and although he has a long lasting relationship with the company, there have been some hiccups between the two sides throughout the years.

Most notably he left the sports entertainment company to join World Championship Wrestling in the 1990’s, and he worked in TNA Wrestling for a few years.

His latest run with the company was a short one. On February 24, 2014, on Raw, Hogan made his first WWE in-ring appearance since December 2007 to hype the launch of the WWE Network.

At WrestleMania XXX in March, Hogan served as the host and came out at the start of the show to hype up the crowd. Steve Austin and The Rock ended up coming out to have a memorable segment with him.

Hogan picked up mainstream popularity between the mid-1980s and early 1990s in the WWE. He would join World Championship Wrestling in the 1990s where he often performed as a heel as the New World Order (nWo) leader.

Hogan headlined the premier annual events of the WWE and WCW, WrestleMania and Starrcade, multiple times. He has also worked for other promotions such as American Wrestling Association, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

During his professional wrestling career, he is a twelve-time world champion: a six-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion/WWE Champion and a six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

He was the first wrestler to win consecutive Royal Rumbles, in 1990 and 1991 respectively. Hogan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

WWE issued the following statement on Hogan’s status with the company: “At this time, WWE remains committed to its decision.”

For those who are wondered about him appearing on Raw 25, Hogan has since shot down that idea of a possible return and obviously, that didn’t happen.

It’s been well documented that Hogan's WWE return has depended on the company being reasonably sure that bringing him back won't cause a big backlash due to his racist comments debacle from 2016. It’s possible that WWE hires him in an Ambassador role.

Hogan was in talks about a return to wrestling of late, but not with WWE. It would have reportedly been an angle that would have been huge, but in the end, it wouldn’t have made economic sense.
