Chesterfield came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home to Dagenham & Redbridge in Coca-Cola League Two.

A goal either side of half-time from Danny Green, the first a penalty, put the Daggers in control, but Ishmel Demontagnac pulled one back and Barry Conlon levelled with an 89th-minute spot-kick.

Morecambe's win moved them up to seventh and within a point of the three teams directly above them.

Bury dropped out of the play-off places with a 5-2 thumping at third-bottom Cheltenham.

A Justin Richards penalty after 35 minutes - which Bury keeper Wayne Brown was sent off for conceding - and goals from Matt Thornhill and Joshua Low had Town three up, but Ryan Lowe pulled one back from the spot in the 80th minute and reduced the deficit to one two minutes later.

But Cheltenham pulled away again as Low and Barry Hayles ensured victory.

Basement boys Darlington avoided having their relegation to the Conference confirmed after a goalless draw at home to Accrington Stanley left them 21 points from safety with seven games left.

Second-bottom Grimsby, who also look doomed, won 1-0 at Hereford thanks to Jamie Devitt, while Shrewsbury won 3-0 at Crewe with goals from Dave Hibbert and Tom Bradshaw (two).

Elsewhere, Burton drew 1-1 at home to Bradford, Shaun Harrad cancelling out Luke Oliver's opener. Greg Pearson earlier missed a penalty for Burton.

Macclesfield won 2-1 at Barnet, Emile Sinclair and Lee Bell putting them two up before Edward Upson pulled one back.
