Manchester United supporters can’t wait to see their new number seven in action following his move from Arsenal earlier this week. And they might not need to wait that long.Alexis Sanchez is in the United squad for Friday night’s FA Cup fourth round clash against League Two side Yeovil Town and is expected to be amongst the substitutes at Huish Park. The Chile international, whose move from Arsenal to Old Trafford saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan complete a transfer in the opposite direction, was hailed by Jose Mourinho in his pre-match press conference on Thursday.“We got one of the best attacking players in the world and he's very important for us because we want the best possible players," Mourinho told journalists, per the Mirror.“He can play everywhere in the attacking positions. I have known him for many many years, I was with him in Italy when I was at Inter and he was at Udinese, in Spain, when I was at Real Madrid and he was at Barcelona , and in England, when he was at Arsenal.“So our careers are almost made in the same countries simultaneously, so I know him very very well. I saw him play on the right, on the left, as a striker and behind the striker, these are Alexis's positions.“I saw him play in different tactical positions, in different philosophies, I saw him successful in every country with every manager and every position, so he's a player that becomes more than a player and, because of that motivation, he can play in four different positions.”

Luke Shaw reveals what Alexis has been like in training

United fans have been desperate for any photos or video footage of Sanchez in training over the past couple of days but, as things stand, the club have curiously opted against posting too much about his training ground exploits on their various social media channels.

However, Luke Shaw has provided United fans with an update which has left them very excited.

Asked how he feels about the signing, the left-back replied: “Really happy. Obviously he’s a phenomenal player - one of the best in the world - and the quality that he will bring to the side will surely boost our attacking threat.”

But it was what he said after that has led United fans to get even giddier.

“We’ve already seen his quality in training and some of the things he’s done is a joke.”

Notice how Shaw was almost laughing when making that comment. It gives the impression that Sanchez has been different class during the couple of training sessions that he’s been involved in with his new teammates.
