Tranmere boss Les Parry has received a double boost ahead of the relegation fixture against Wycombe.

Midfielders Andy Robinson and Paul McLaren are both in line to return to the starting line-up.

Leeds loanee Robinson is available for selection again after serving a suspension following a straight red card on his debut.

McLaren was also serving a suspension after collecting his 10th booking of the season in the 3-1 victory over Norwich.

However, striker Craig Curran is doubtful after sustaining a groin injury in Saturday`s defeat against Walsall.

Curran had to be replaced before the final whistle and is now unlikely to return before the visit of Exeter this weekend. After losing their last two matches, Parry will be looking for a response from his players in a crucial fixture.

Wycombe will be without Adam Hinshelwood.

The Chairboys skipper sustained a knee injury after just 18 minutes of Saturday's 2-0 win over Hartlepool and will see a specialist on Monday night before the club can determine the extent of the damage.

Gareth Ainsworth will retain the captain's armband, while Lewis Hunt will be pushing for a start after recovering from a groin injury to replace Hinshelwood on Saturday to make his first appearance since mid-February.

Luke Oliver is also in contention for a place after being recalled from his loan spell at Bradford.

Alex Revell made his first start in seven games on Saturday and his man-of-the-match display will ensure he keeps his place at Prenton Park.

But Leon Johnson (knee) and Ian Westlake (ankle) remain a few weeks away from a return as Wycombe continue their battle against relegation.
