Sunday saw yet another triumph in the emphatic career of Roger Federer as he registered his 20th Grand Slam on the back of his sixth title in Melbourne, matching the likes of Roy Emerson and Novak Djokovic in the tournament's history. The Swiss ace has enjoyed a brilliant revival since returning from injury last year and has continued that form and fitness into 2018, without dropping a set along his way to the final in the Australian Open.Croatian star Marin Cilic was able to push Federer closer to the limit but it was the latter who ultimately reigned supreme, securing a 6-2, 6-7(5-7), 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 victory at the Rod Laver Arena on Sunday.Tributes poured in from all quarters to commemorate the win, honouring the brilliance of the 36-year-old for achieving yet another feat. However, there were some who found unique ways to praise Federer for his display.Former tennis ace Andy Roddick and Canadian star Eugenie Bouchard were among those who took to social media to celebrate Federer's latest triumph, but their posts certainly attracted more attention than most.In reply to a fan’s request to provide his reaction, Andy Roddick noticed something pretty funny about Federer's ever-growing tally of Grand Slams.“If Roger wins two this year, his grand slam count can legally drink in America,” he wrote.Meanwhile, Bouchard tweeted a picture of her own take on the viral Salt Bae meme by editing in Federer's face, accompanied by various trophies appearing to fall from his hand.

Very clever!

It has picked up well over 5,000 retweets and 16,000 likes at the time of writing.

As things stand, Federer looks like well set to maintain his dominance on court and will now have his sights on returning to the top of the world rankings.

With Rafael Nadal struggling with an injury picked up in Melbourne and Novak Djokovic still on his way back to full fitness and form, Federer can expect to challenge for plenty more accolades in the season ahead.
