Arsenal have finally come to agreement with Borussia Dortmund over a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - but complications remain.

Aubameyang will reportedly cost the Gunners £60 million having already agreed personal terms with the club, including wages of £170,000-per-week.

But in order for the deal to go through before Wednesday's deadline, Dortmund insist on finding a replacement.

Anthony Modeste and Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi have both been linked with the German club, with Batshuayi the subject of a loan move.

But again, in order for Chelsea to allow the Belgian to join Dortmund, they want to sign another striker to provide competition for Alvaro Morata.

And the player they want? Arsenal's Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal's move for Aubameyang hinges on whether they're prepared to let another big name join a Premier League rival.

Having already lost Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, you wouldn't blame the Gunners for not wanting to let Chelsea take Giroud.

But that might not be the case. In fact, it's being reported that Arsenal and Chelsea have actually agreed on a fee that would see Giroud move across London.

This is according to the usually reliable Gianluca Di Marzio, reporter for Sky Italy, who has dropped something of a bombshell on Arsenal fans this evening.

Di Marzio claims Arsenal have agreed to sell Giroud to Chelsea for - wait for it - £15 million. No, seriously.

GIROUD TO CHELSEA FOR... £15M?!

Giroud, 31, is highly rated in north London and at one point £28 million was being touted, yet Arsenal are now apparently prepared to do business for just £15 million.

It just goes to show how desperate they are to push the Aubameyang deal over the line.

As you can probably guess, though, Arsenal fans are losing it and hope they're not about to lose Giroud, on top of Sanchez, for such a small amount.
