Daniel Sturridge's future at Liverpool has been a major talking point this month.Having started just five Premier League games all season and only scored twice, it was widely expected the 28-year-old would leave Anfield, be it permanently or on loan.Inter Milan, Sevilla and West Ham have all been linked, but on Monday it was announced Sturridge has joined West Brom."There were many things in deciding on this move," said Sturridge at his unveiling. "The manager spoke very well when we talked about the challenge with the team."There was the style of play and this feels like it was the right fit at the right time. I've got some friends here who are West Brom fans so I can't let them down as much as the any of the Albion supporters."Coming here, I'm back home. When I've played here, it had a home feel for me. I'm seeing faces in the stands that I've known growing up. It's a good feeling for me being here."I want to enjoy myself as much as I can but getting results is our first priority. God willing I'll be able to help the team win games.

"That's the most important thing. Whether it's goals, assists, hard work, all of those things."

The irony of Sturridge's move to West Brom is that his parent club, Liverpool, only lost to the Baggies three days ago at home in the FA Cup.

It was a pretty embarrassing result for Jurgen Klopp's side and now Grzegorz Krychowiak has added insult to injury by hilariously trolling them on Twitter.

In reaction to Sturridge leaving Liverpool for West Brom, Krychowiak tweeted, "If you can't beat us, join us," with a number of laughing-crying emojis. Check it out below.

Ouch - it's no wonder Krychowiak's tweet has gone viral.

Sturridge added how he's looking forward to the challenge of helping West Brom - who are currently 19th in the Premier League - avoid relegation.

"It's going to be a great feeling for me to be here, to have my family not so far away that they can come to games and see me play regularly," added the striker.

"I want to enjoy myself as much as I can but it's an important time for the club also. It's not about enjoyment right now, it's about getting results."
