Although the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr is long gone and forgotten, the war of words between these two is still going on.

Earlier this month, Mayweather attacked the UFC's lightweight champion with a series of Instagram posts, showing his dominance in their highly promoted fight (or show) in pictures.

"Money" mocked "The Notorious" for his reported troubles with the Irish mafia and McGregor responded in style.

And, when everyone thought it finally went quiet and calm, McGregor found himself on the receiving end of a post from Mayweather once again.

A few hours ago, the undefeated American posted another picture of himself landing a punch on McGregor to his Instagram page.

This time, the self-proclaimed "TBE" used a personalised version of a popular hashtag to troll the Irishman.

The picture had the following description: "#MCM Mayweather Crushes McGregor."

MCM is a short term on Twitter, which stands for Man Crush Monday. Young ladies post pictures of good looking guys and say they are their crush for the current Monday. It makes Mondays a bit more bearable for the youth around the world.

The continuing war of words/posts between McGregor and Mayweather is making fans believe that the fighters are making their way for a rematch.

Well, not if you ask UFC president Dana White, though.

He stated his pride of what McGregor did against Mayweather, but is not willing to let his fighter do it again.

“I don’t want to do it again,” White said after UFC Fight Night 124 in St-Louis in relation to the subject.

“I heard that Floyd Mayweather showed up last night at one of the nightclubs in Vegas with a Conor McGregor t-shirt on.

“I know these guys have been talking s**t, but I want Conor to start training again and come back and defend his title.”

McGregor hasn't fought in the Octagon since he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC lightweight championship at UFC 205 in November 2016.

White is desperate to get McGregor back to MMA fights, and is even ready to strip him of his title if the 155-pound star does not fight until a preferred date in September.

McGregor, on the other hand, is in no rush to come back to action, as he still enjoys what he earned against Mayweather.
