As England's 11pm deadline nears, a lot of business is still yet to be done in the transfer market for the Premier League's top six.

Tottenham have been fairly quiet so far, with Mauricio Pochettino clearly pretty content with the players he already has at his disposal.

Harry Kane is scoring goals and Heung-Min Son is in sparkling form, so what do Spurs need?

Well, Pochettino has identified that those two need some support, with Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Erik Lamela all struggling to find their best form.

Paris Saint-Germain's Lucas Moura is the man wanted to bolster their attacking options, with the Brazilian winger set to complete a £25m move to north London.

The former Sao Paolo man has never really been a first team regular in Paris, although he did enjoy a great season in 2016/17, scoring 12 times and assisting five more in Ligue 1.

But, the arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, as well as the form of Angel Di Maria, means he simply has to leave, with Unai Emery even telling him to move on.

Lucas played no part in PSG's game against Rennes on Tuesday evening, but Neymar certainly had quite a strong reaction to his impending move after the game.

NEYMAR SPEAKS OUT

"I’m sad, because he’s a good friend, he’s a quality player who was rarely used. I think it’s very unfair," declared Neymar.

"He is my brother in football. I wish him the best. Whatever the destination, I hope he will score a lot and he will return to the Brazilian national team.

"He’s not just a friend, he’s a very good guy. Here he could have been used a lot more but I’m not the owner of the team, not the owner of Paris.

"For me, he should never be leaving Paris."

No holding back from the €222m man.

Lucas was wanted by Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United before his move to PSG, so it will be interesting to see how he takes his opportunity in England's top-flight some years later.
