One WWE star is tired of losing.

That star is Zack Ryder, who signed with the WWE in 2006. Fast forward to 2007, Ryder and his tag team partner Curt Hawkins were moved from ECW to SmackDown as the eighth pick in the 2007 Supplemental Draft.

On SmackDown, the team had more success by defeating Chavo Guerrero and Jamie Noble. After having some success, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and the rest of the creative team decided to do something with the tag team.

At Armageddon, the team dressed up as Edge and interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship match by replacing Edge during the match to help him win the title.

Their storyline with Edge last for a while but nothing last forever. On the September 26, 2008, episode of SmackDown, Hawkins, and Ryder lost the Tag Team Titles to Carlito and Primo Colón in their first televised title defense.

On April 15, 2009, Ryder was drafted back to the ECW brand as part of the 2009 Supplemental Draft, separating the team. This is when Ryder found himself in another team.

Ryder and Rawley formed The Hype Bros in NXT back in 2015 The team was one of the bigger fan favorites in NXT before moving up to the main roster in July of 2016.

The pair were sent to SmackDown Live. In December of last year The Hype Bros earned a shot at the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles.

Unfortunately for The Hype Bros, however, Ryder suffered an injury that would sideline him for several months, and a potential Tag Team Title run for the duo was ripped right out from under them as a result.

Since then, Rawley has seen some decent competition in Singles action and even won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33.

Rawley last eliminated Jinder Mahal to win the honor after his longtime friend and former football teammate, Rob Gronkowski (Tight End in the NFL for the New England Patriots) assisted him.

Ryder returned from injury in June and reunited with Rawley in Tag Team action. Unfortunately they weren't able to rack up many wins together and it all came to a head where they split as a group.

As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Wells Fargo Center on the USA Network, Rusev defeated Ryder, Jinder Mahal and Kofi Kingston to earn a title shot. Now, Rusev will will challenge Bobby Roode for the title next week.

WWE holds next week’s show in Kansas City, MO at the Sprint Center. As noted, Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens with the winner challenging AJ Styles for the WWE Title at Fastlane will serve as the main event of this show.

Ryder wrote the following as he continues to express frustration over his WWE status:

“Another night..another loss. Now what? #SDLive”
