The Detroit Pistons have been nothing but brilliant in their last three games, and many believe it's down to the team pulling off the blockbuster trade to acquire Blake Griffin from the Los Angeles Clippers.Last Monday, the Pistons executed a trade to get Griffin along with Willie Reed and Brice Johnson from the Clippers, sending Avery Bradley, Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, a future protected first-round draft pick and a future second-round draft pick in the other direction. The power forward made his debut for the Pistons three days later, scoring 24 points with 10 rebounds and five assists in a win over the Memphis Grizzlies, becoming the first player with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a debut with the team since Grant Hill (25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists) in 1994.He followed that up with another good performance for Detroit on Saturday, scoring 16 points with nine rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in the team's 111-107 win over the Miami Heat at the Little Caesars Arena.Griffin was only 6-of-19 from the field, so that's something which needs to change moving forward, but he did have a couple of highlight reel plays including an awesome first slam dunk for the Pistons during the second quarter of the game on Saturday.

He also made a key 3-pointer in the final minute to lift Detroit to a 111-107 victory over Miami. After the game, the power forward said he was glad his teammates were able to step up as he was having an off day.

Griffin said, via ESPN: "Just a little more tired today -- the adrenaline wore off a little bit, just the toll of the week. It's amazing to see all these guys step up and play so well."

Blake's presence is certainly helping other Pistons players on the court make an impact, as the added attention he received in the game opened up opportunities for his teammates on the court.

Andre Drummond finished the game with 23 points, 20 rebounds, four blocked shots and four steals, while Stanley Johnson had a strong game with 13 points and seven rebounds.

Griffin and the rest of the Pistons will be hoping they can keep the winning streak going when they host the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night.
