Russell Westbrook must be thinking what more he has to do in order to help the Oklahoma City Thunder win a game, as the team suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Thunder narrowly lost 108-104 to the Lakers on Sunday at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City despite the fact Westbrook had a good performance with 36 points, five rebounds, nine assists, one steal, and he was 15-of-25 from the field. The reigning MVP is still playing great basketball despite the poor results recently for Oklahoma City. He demonstrated pieces of this fantastic play with a ferocious dunk during the loss against Los Angeles yesterday. As you can see in the video further down in this article, the point guard received the ball from teammate Paul George in the third quarter near the free-throw line, only to jump up in the air immediately towards the basket and slam the ball into the hoop viciously.Despite the way which Westbrook is playing though, the Thunder are struggling to win games. Yet, what is even more surprising is that the 29-year-old is actually enjoying playing through the adversity on the court.

He said on Sunday after the loss to the Lakers, via ESPN's Royce Young: "It's fun, man. Adversity is great. Me personally, I love adversity. It gives you an opportunity to bring your teammates together, bring everybody together and look forward to positive things.

"Throughout the season, there's going to be a lot of ups and downs, but we never flinch. That's one thing about this organization, about our team: We never flinch based on what's going on. We always stay together.

"We lost in four in a row, that's where we're at. But the best part of this league is you get a chance to play again, in a day and half, whatever it is we play. We're going to be good, though."

It's not surprising that Westbrook believes the Thunder's form can turn around soon, but it will have to change quickly if the team wants to achieve a good seed for the playoffs.
