The women's division in the WWE has been given an injection of life over the past couple of weeks, from the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble taking place, to Ronda Rousey debuting, to the announcement of the first-ever Women's Elimination Chamber match as well. Some of the most compelling storylines are being booked for the women's division today across both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, but things could be about to get a lot more interesting, especially on Raw.Last year, a heel turn for Sasha Banks was teased by the WWE, with her turning on her best friend Bayley while she was Raw Women's Champion, but nothing came to fruition and since then it seemed like WWE had forgotten about the possible booking angle. That all changed at the Royal Rumble when The Boss teamed up with The Bella Twins in the Women's Royal Rumble match to try and eliminate Asuka, teasing a possible heel turn, only for Nikki and Brie to team up and eliminate The Boss instead, ending her time in the match after nearly 55 minutes.Banks followed it up last week on Raw with a new attitude during her match against Asuka, which she lost. This week before Raw, more emphasis was placed on a possible heel turn on her Twitter account, as she posted before the show: "She remembered who she was and the game changed."

Even more tension was shown between Bayley and Banks on Raw this week when they were conversing backstage about Asuka, hinting that the two best friends could soon become bitter enemies, a feud which could possibly begin in the Elimination Chamber match later this month.

Finally, it looks as though many WWE fans will be getting their wish as many have been wanting The Boss to ditch her fan-friendly attitude for some time now and return to her heel Boss persona. Fans won't have to wait much longer for it to happen if the heel turn takes place in the Women's Elimination Chamber match.

This, in turn, will likely mean we're getting Bayley vs Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 34, which should be a very entertaining match and help get both of their careers back on track after a bumpy past couple of months.
