Paul George might be with the Oklahoma City Thunder at the moment, but there's no saying what he could decide to do come the summer when he is potentially a free agent. It seems as though Los Angeles Lakers fans are doing everything they can to urge the small forward to join their franchise.A Russell Westbrook-less Thunder lost 106-81 to the Lakers last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as five Lakers players managed to score double-digit points on the night, whereas only two players managed to achieve the feat for Oklahoma City.George was the best player in terms of points on the court on the night, and he finished one rebound shy of a double-double. The Thunder star finished the game with 29 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block, and was 11-of-25 from the field. In the fourth quarter of the game, Lakers fans inside the Staples Center began to show their appreciation towards the 27-year-old by chanting "We want Paul" as you can see in the video further down in an effort to swing his upcoming offseason decision in their favor.Magic Johnson may have recently got himself into trouble for talking about players of interest, but that isn't going to stop the Los Angeles Lakers fans from trying to do some recruit for their team themselves.

After the game, George said he didn't hear the chants, but he did say positive things about two of the Lakers' brightest young stars in Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma, who had impressive nights to help Los Angeles come away from the game with a win.

Kuzma, like George, was one rebound shy of a double-double, as he finished with 16 points, nine rebounds, and two assists. Ingram, on the other hand, finished with 19 points, two rebounds, and six assists.

The Thunder star said on the Lakers young duo after the game according to Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints: “They played their game, they stuck within their lines. They’re a young team. They’re going to make mistakes, they’re allowed to make mistakes at this point, but they’re confident.

"At the end of the day, that’s what you want, that they’re confident, so they played well tonight.”

The Thunder play next when they host the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, while the Lakers are away at the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
