Lincoln boss Chris Sutton will have to shuffle his defence for the visit of Bury.

Paul Green will miss the remaining three matches of the season after breaking a bone in his right foot during the defeat at Shrewsbury last weekend.

Green is likely to be replaced at right-back by Cian Hughton, who makes a timely return from a two-game suspension.

Hughton`s availability will probably see on-loan Aston Villa youngster Nathan Baker move back to centre-half to partner Danny Hone.

Joe Anderson could also return to help ease City`s defensive crisis after the left-back missed the Shrewsbury match with a hamstring problem.

Defenders Adam Watts, Moses Swaibu and Ian Pearce are all out for the rest of the season through injury while midfielder Chris Herd will also miss the remaining matches with knee ligament damage.

Rookie goalkeeper Cameron Belford looks set to keep his place for Bury.

The 21-year-old replaced the suspended Wayne Brown for the recent 3-0 win over Crewe and did enough to hold onto the shirt in the 1-1 draw with Port Vale despite the Shakers' regular number one being available again.

Bury will be without striker Keigan Parker, who has returned to Oldham following an injury-hit one-month loan spell at Gigg Lane.

But boss Alan Knill has an otherwise full-strength squad to choose from as his side look to cement their place in the play-offs.

Knill took his players to an army base to put them through their paces on an assault course to prepare for the vital clash.
