It looks like the circus act between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather isn't done just yet, and Nate Diaz is even getting in on the fun.Back early last year news broke that shook the very foundation of combat sports. Conor McGregor agreed to step into the boxing ring against the greatest the sport has ever seen in Floyd Mayweather Jr. The fight took place on August 26th of last year from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.McGregor did rather well for himself early on, mostly because Mayweather was taking rounds off and allowing the Irishman to tire himself out, landing nice jabs and catching "Money" with a hellacious uppercut.Eventually McGregor gassed and Mayweather was able to pour on the offense and finish the UFC lightweight champion in the 10th round of the bout.It seemed that the matter between McGregor and Mayweather had beed put to bed - but it wasn't.Several months after the fight and McGregor and Mayweather continue to take shots at one another via social media.Fighters don't typically do this, much like professional wrestling, unless it's going to lead to a big payoff. Now rumors have begun to circulate that Mayweather could be negotiating to step into the UFC's Octagon to challenge "The Notorious One" in his world.Mayweather posted a photoshopped picture of he and McGregor fighting in which it looks like he's delivering an elbow to McGregor, again hinting at an Octagon debut:

McGregor responded to Mayweather with a picture of his own, posting an actual photo of himself landing an elbow against Nate Diaz during their bad blood rematch back in 2016:

Nate Diaz responded with a zinger of his own, leaving for nothing left to be said from either McGregor or Mayweather. He posted the photo of himself in full mount on top of McGregor from their first fight in March of 2016.

Diaz eventually submitted McGregor in the sequence shown, handing him his first and only loss in the UFC's Octagon. He captioned the photo "Real killer in real war....":

What are your thoughts on Diaz firing shots at both McGregor and Mayweather with his recent social media post? Do you think that Diaz will ever return to the Octagon for a fight that's not against Conor McGregor? And are you a fan of a potential Octagon fight between McGregor and Mayweather?
