This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE made another huge announcement regarding the future of Ronda Rousey in the WWE, as they revealed which brand she would be signing for.So far, all we have seen of Rousey in the WWE is her Royal Rumble appearance when she confronted Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss in the middle of the ring before going ringside to shake hands with Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon.Since then, the only official news we've received on Rowdy is that when she's finished with her movie in Colombia, she will be working on a full-time deal with the WWE, but we're unsure what this means right now.Last night on Raw, however, WWE fans received another update on the future of the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion with the company, as they revealed which brand she will be signing with.In the ring on last night's show, Raw general manager Kurt Angle announced that in two weeks at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Las Vegas, Rousey will be signing her Monday Night Raw contract, meaning she will be competing on WWE's red brand.

This is huge as it means, for the immediate future, Rousey will be competing against the female superstars of Raw, including the likes Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, and Alicia Fox.

It also means the rumored match for mixed tag team match for Rousey of her and an unknown partner vs Stephanie McMahon and Triple H is still on since the seeds will be planted with on-screen confrontations between Rowdy and Stephanie on WWE's red brand.

Rousey on Raw means as well that she won't be clashing with any of the women on SmackDown for the time being, so no encounters with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Naomi, Ruby Riot, and others in the ring for the time being.

If the speculation is true that Asuka will be using her Royal Rumble win to challenge the SmackDown Women's Champion, then she won't be having a highly anticipated clash with The Empress of Tomorrow anytime soon in the ring since she will be on WWE's blue brand and no longer on Raw.

So it looks like WWE has begun to sewn the seeds towards Rousey's first WWE feud, and it's going to take place on Monday Night Raw.
