Huddersfield boss Lee Clark hailed his team's performance as they booked their play-off place with a comprehensive 6-0 win over bottom club Stockport.
The goals were spread around with Anthony Pilkington, Theo Robinson, Jordan Rhodes, Danny Drinkwater, Gary Roberts and Lee Novak all getting on the scoresheet. The Terriers sealed a top-six finish with two games to spare after Colchester could only draw at home to Tranmere.
"The lads have done exceptionally well. We were so professional in our approach, and all the lads took everything on board," said Clark.
"We've all done our jobs very well, and we were very ruthless in the second half. There had been a bit of pressure on us going into the game, but all the players have shown that they can handle it."
Asked whether he would ease off at all during these last two games and maybe blood a few youngsters, Clark issued a concise response.
"We'll be going for the six points, definitely," he said. "There will certainly be no relaxation from us, our approach won't change. Our first goal has been done now, but we'll just continue our good work in these last two games and see where it takes us."
