Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham secured an impressive 2-2 draw against Juventus in Turin in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash.
Gonzalo Higuain scored twice in the opening nine minutes before Harry Kane made Tottenham's pressure pay by rounding Gianluigi Buffon to score in the 35th minute.
Spurs full-back Serge Aurier produced a rash tackle in first half stoppage time to gift Higuain the opportunity to score his hat-trick from the penalty spot - but the Argentine smashed his spot kick at the crossbar.
He was made to pay when Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen equalised with a wonderful free-kick in the second-half.
Spurs are set to host Juventus at Wembley in the second leg on March 7 - and it's a match that is not to be missed.
It's all to play for still.
Spurs fans sick of one player
The result gives Pochettino's side a good chance of progressing to the quarter-finals - but Tottenham fans on social media were not happy regardless.
Aurier gave away a penalty in ridiculous circumstances and his all-round performance in Turin simply was not good enough.
Legendary Premier League defender Rio Ferdinand was in the BT Sport studio and criticised the 25-year-old at half-time.
"As a defender, I've never really rated Aurier," said Ferdinand. "He's rash and lets him team down too often."
The Ivorian wing-back was signed for £25m from PSG in the summer and has been vying with Kieran Trippier for the right-back slot.
Check out some of the tweets from critical Spurs fans below.
They're bang on the money - how on earth did he last the full 90 minutes?
To the relief of Tottenham fans, Aurier's yellow card early in the second half means he'll be suspended for the second leg.
Should Trippier be starting ahead of the "liability" at right-back? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
