Crystal Palace have denied reports claiming they are poised to sound out neighbouring clubs over a ground share.

The Eagles remain in administration with the potential takeover of the club by the CPFC 2010 consortium hinging on whether they can purchase their Selhurst Park ground, which is in the hands of separate administrators.

But there are fears the stadium could instead be sold to developers, leading to reports Palace may end up playing home matches at fierce local rivals Millwall or Charlton.

However, administrator Brendan Guilfoyle said: "Croydon Council have been very clear that there is no immediate prospect of an alternative use for Selhurst Park and there have been no discussions on ground sharing with rival clubs by anyone at Crystal Palace Football Club."
