Chelsea sure likes to send a young player out on loan, don't they?Even though things aren't exactly going according to plan for the Blues this season, Antonio Conte opted to bring in Oliver Giroud and Ross Barkley in the January transfer window rather than promote from within. One might have thought Chelsea would have already learned their lesson after opting to splash £40 million on Tiemoue Bakayoko in the summer instead of giving Nathaniel Chalobah his chance in the first team.Bakayoko has been widely criticised by the Chelsea fanbase for his non-descript performance since arriving from Monaco while Chalobah, although currently injured, earned his first ever England call-up due to his early season form for Watford. It seems as though Michy Batshuayi has fallen victim to Chelsea's habit too and instead of helping the club to finish the season strongly, the Belgian has been farmed out on loan to Borussia Dortmund. However, it looks to be just what the 24-year-old needed. He currently has five goals and one assists in three games, including a brace in the Europa League against Atlanta tonight.

As you can imagine, Twitter was quick to tell Chelsea how stupid their decision is looking now.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke made no secret of his desire to bring Batsuayi to the club permanently and said: 'We tried our best to get a permanent option for Michy Batshuayi, but it was a no go for Chelsea. When Roman Abramovich says ''no'', it is a ''no''.'

Chelsea boss Conte insists that he does indeed rate the forward and he has a future at Stamford Bridge.

Conte said: "Batshuayi is a young player. He has a good future in front of him. He has to continue to work and have commitment.

"It's not simple to be young and play in a great team like Chelsea. But I'm very with his commitment and I'm very happy with his behaviour during the training sessions.

"I'm very happy when he's playing and when I'm calling him to start the game. He has to continue this way."
