We now know who will be next in line.

The challengers we mean for the Raw Tag Team Titles, which are held by Cesaro and Sheamus.

The two Superstars were put together by WWE officials in 2016 to help elevate the tag team division on the Raw brand.

On December 18th at Roadblock: End of the Line pay-per-view event, Sheamus and Cesaro defeated The New Day to win the Raw Tag Team Championship.

This marked Sheamus' first tag team championship in his WWE career. They would later beat The Hardy Boyz for their second reign as tag team champions.

Prior to signing with WWE, Cesaro was previously known for his work in Ring of Honor (ROH), various independent promotions including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), and the Japan-based Pro Wrestling Noah.

He was a two-time ROH World Tag Team Champion with his partner Chris Hero as The Kings of Wrestling three-time WWE Tag Team Champion with his partner Tyson Kidd as part of their team and his reigns with Sheamus as the Raw Tag Team Champions.

In September 2011, he signed a contract with WWE and began working in its developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).

Cesaro made his WWE television debut on the April 20, 2012 episode of SmackDown by appearing in a backstage segment with Aksana and Theodore Long.

Cesaro has also had success as a singles wrestler, having won the WWE's United States Championship and the inaugural André the Giant Memorial Trophy at WrestleMania 30 along with numerous independent singles titles, such as the PWG World Championship.

WWE teased in their Raw Preview article that The Revival would be challenging for the Raw Tag Team Titles soon. Here is what they wrote:

“Picking up tremendous steam on The Road to WrestleMania, The Revival defeated former Raw Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson this past Monday night on Raw.

Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson call themselves “Top Guys,” but they won’t fully convince the WWE Universe that they’re deserving of that moniker until they snare the Raw Tag Team Champions. Are reigning tandem titleholders Sheamus & Cesaro keeping a close eye on these throwback competitors?”
