During his prime, there was no one better than Barcelona's Ronaldinho.

Signed from Paris Saint-Germain in 2003 for just €30 million, the Brazilian required only two years in Catalonia to reach the peak of world football.

In 2005, Ronaldinho was awarded the Ballon d'Or to become the undisputed best football player on the planet.

Some of his performances for Barca will go down as amongst the greatest ever, such as against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on November 19, 2005.

Barcelona won that game 3-0 and Ronaldinho, who scored a brace, was so good he received a standing ovation from Los Blancos' fans.

Another game that will always stand out for Ronaldinho was the 1-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro in the 2005/06 Champions League semi-finals.

Barcelona won the first leg 1-0 and it was Ronaldinho's assist that set up Ludovic Giuly's 57th-minute winner.

However, what the game will be remembered for is how the Brazil legend made Milan's legendary side look like a group of school children.

Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo and Alessandro Nesta were all victims of Ronaldinho's magnificence, as you can see in the video below.

The montage contains three separate clips: Ronaldinho destroying Gattuso, then Pirlo and then all three of them with some frankly outrageous juggling. Check it out.

RONALDINHO VS AC MILAN, 2005

One can imagine Gattuso, Pirlo and Nesta still have nightmares to this day about Ronaldinho running the ball around them while doing keepy-uppies.

Lionel Messi may be regarded as the greatest footballer of all time, but no one did it like Ronaldinho.
