Last year, Giannis Antetokounmpo was named as the NBA's Most Improved Player and with the way he's playing this season, it wouldn't be inconceivable for him to win it again.

The Greek Freak has elevated his game even further and has firmly established himself as a superstar in the league.

He's currently the second-leading scorer in the NBA with a career-high 27.8 points per game.

The small forward is also averaging a career-best 10.7 rebounds as well as 4.8 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.4 steals.

As scary as it might be for his opponents, Antetokounmpo is still only 23 and can still get even better.

The glaring weakness in his game is his jump shot as he's still not entirely confident shooting the ball.

If he develops a consistent jumper, he'll be practically impossible to guard.

Giannis is always looking for ways to improve and has revealed that he's hoping to spend time working with five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant in the summer.

With the pair scheduled to be in Los Angeles for All-Star weekend, the Bucks star is hoping to use the time to speak to the Lakers legend when they meet at a special Nike event.

“When I go to that event, I'm going to try to sneak an opportunity to talk to him,” Antetokounmpo said, per ESPN's Eric Nehm. “I want to ask him if I can come to L.A. to work with him.”

As the headliner of the Nike event, Bryant did a special interview with ESPN to kick things off and Antetokounmpo picked out some interesting comments he made.

“I saw an interview that he did. He did an interview recently where he said he is working out players this summer,” he said. “I think one of the guys he works with in the summer is Kawhi Leonard, probably Jimmy Butler and Paul George.”

As well as getting tips on how to get better on the court, the two-time All-Star is hoping to tap into Kobe's mentality and look to translate that into his own game.

“Not to just go out there and workout for two or three weeks, but to grab a dinner and see the way his mind thinks,” Antetokounmpo said. “To see if I'm on the right path.

“It's all about how he thinks. It's about how they think, how the greats think. How they think about the game. I want to see how he thinks about the game, how he sees the game, how he would play today, would he change something about the way he plays. Obviously, he's watched me play, and hopefully he can give me some tips.”

The All-NBA man is already on the path to greatness but the best players are never satisfied and always believe they can grow.

Antetokounmpo is placing himself in that category and is destined to achieve great things in the future.
