Arsenal fans haven't had much to cheer about so far this season so the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January was timely to say the least.

His and Henrikh Mkhitaryan's respective arrivals have sparked new hope at the Emirates Stadium, despite Alexis Sanchez's departure and the recent north London derby defeat.

Aubameyang certainly seems excited about the future and has promised to help Arsenal reach the top once again.

"Finally! I'm really happy to be here," said Aubameyang upon joining the Gunners. "Of course I can join Micki in this team, so I'm really happy to be here in this great team.

"I think the club has such a big history and great players like Thierry Henry. He's an example for us strikers. I'm really happy, like I said before.

"I hope that we will come back to the top as soon as possible. I will do my best to join in."

Aubameyang has settled into his new surroundings nicely by scoring on his debut against Everton and establishing an understanding with Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil.

It's a shame he won't be available to Arsene Wenger in the Europa League, but he had other business to attend to on Thursday night.

Now the Gabon international has completed his move from Dortmund to London, the time has come for him to start looking for a house - and he may have already found one.

Aubameyang, who earns £180,000-per-week at Arsenal, has his eye on a stunning six-bedroom mansion in north London worth £16 million.

Just to put that eye-watering figure into perspective, the mansion Paul Pogba bought when he joined Manchester United in 2016 cost £2.6 million.

WHAT £180,000-PER-WEEK GETS YOU

So what exactly does £16 million get you? Well, the property has six bedrooms as stated, six bathrooms, five shower rooms and three dressing rooms.

It also boasts a state-of-the-art gym, home cinema and swimming pool, not to mention a huge garden big enough for a 7-a-side football pitch.

Lucky for some, eh?
