A huge main event match has been announced for this week's Monday Night Raw by the WWE, the go-home show before the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view next weekend in Las Vegas. The main event of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is expected to be the men's Elimination Chamber match between John Cena, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, The Miz, Elias, and Finn Balor to determine who will go on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34.In order to prepare for this first-ever seven-man Elimination Chamber match a week today, WWE is having another huge match this week in the main event on Raw to get the WWE Universe warmed up for the pay-per-view event.WWE announced on their website that this week's Raw main event will be a seven-man gauntlet match between all the superstars who will be competing in the men's Elimination Chamber match.WWE stated on their website: "With only six days to go until WWE Elimination Chamber, how will John Cena, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, Elias and Intercontinental Champion The Miz physically and mentally react to the grueling nature of a Gauntlet Match?"And which Superstar will try to make the ultimate statement by running the gauntlet, proving both their staying power and endurance as they all aim to head into the Elimination Chamber with massive momentum?"Balor and The Miz reacted to the announcement of Raw's gauntlet match on their Twitter accounts.

According to IWNerd, Strowman is the favourite to win the gauntlet match, which makes sense since he's not been built strong in a big match for some time, but unfortunately, this momentum won't last long as The Monster Among Men isn't the favourite to win at the Elimination Chamber.

It has been speculated for some time that Reigns will be facing Lesnar for the Universal title at WrestleMania, so in order for The Big Dog to be booked in this match, he needs to win the Elimination Chamber match next Sunday. This is why he is the favourite to win the historic match at the pay-per-view.
