MK Dons host Brighton with the prospect of having just two first-team regulars available.

Captain Dean Lewington and midfielder Mark Randall are fully fit but every other regular starter is either a doubt, injured or suspended.

Goalkeeper Willy Gueret (thumb) and Sam Baldock (hamstring) were injured against Leeds last weekend while Mat Doumbe, David McCracken and Peter Leven were all dismissed in an ugly 4-1 defeat at Elland Road.

Doumbe starts a four-game ban, Leven begins a three-match suspension and McCracken sits out one game.

Jermaine Easter is a doubt with his recurring thigh problem, Luke Chadwick has a foot injury and Sean O`Hanlon is taking an enforced break as he recovers from a serious knee injury.

Aaron Wilbraham (calf), Danny Woodards (hamstring), Mark Carrington (back) and Stephen Gleeson (knee) are also out so 40-year-old coach Alex Rae could start again in midfield.

Youngsters Daniel Powell and Charlie Collins may make rare starts in attack as the Dons scrape 11 players together to fulfil the fixture.

Glenn Murray is out of the Brighton squad.

The striker was sent off for the second time this season during last week's win over Bristol Rovers and begins a four-match ban.

Full-back Inigo Calderon will miss out again with a hip injury, although the problem is not as serious as first feared and he should be fit for pre-season.

Goalkeeper Michel Kuipers (broken finger), defender Colin Hawkins (Achilles) and on-loan Newcastle winger Kazenga LuaLua (hamstring) are also on the sidelines.

But utility man Gary Hart is close to recovering from a back injury and could make the bench.

Boss Gus Poyet plans to tinker with his line-up with little riding on the outcome for either team.
