Some football fans will suggest that Romelu Lukaku has been a flop at Manchester United after his £75 million move from Everton.

However, his brace against Huddersfield during United’s 2-0 victory in their FA Cup fifth-round tie on Saturday took his goalscoring tally to 21 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions this season.

Not too shabby.

But one criticism that is levelled at Lukaku is his lack of goals against big teams - with him being dubbed a ‘flat-track bully.’

In fact, all but one of his 12 Premier League goals this season have been scored against teams currently in the bottom half. The other one came against ninth-placed Everton.

What’s more, he had just four shots on targets in six matches against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham.

And the criticism he's faced from fans and pundits alike might have something to do with his subdued celebrations this season.

Often, the Belgian striker has refused to celebrate his goals leaving everyone scratching their heads.

SUTTON ON LUKAKU'S LACK OF CELEBRATION

And one man that is struggling to understand why Lukaku doesn’t celebrate his goals is BT Sport pundit Chris Sutton.

The former Blackburn, Chelsea and Celtic - amongst others - striker has admitted he is confused by Lukaku’s lack of celebrations this season and suggests it might be because he’s failed to score against any big clubs.

"Lukaku appears to be a laid-back character but sometimes he looks uninterested," Sutton wrote in the Daily Mail.

"I have never understood why he chooses not to celebrate some of his goals. Celebrating is impulsive. That buzz you get from scoring is the reason you play football. Is it a visible display of his frustration that he cannot score against the best?

"He did celebrate on Saturday and he should take this momentum into a crucial few weeks. United's next two home games are against Chelsea and Liverpool. It may take a winning goal in one of these games to spark Lukaku's Old Trafford career into life. "

Rest assured, if Lukaku scores against Chelsea next weekend - or Liverpool in March - he will definitely be celebrating his strike.
