Monday Night Raw this week began with the gauntlet match between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Finn Balor, The Miz, Elias, and Braun Strowman, the same seven superstars who will compete for a Universal title match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 this Sunday at Elimination Chamber.By the end of the gauntlet match, the WWE Universe had not only enjoyed a fantastic warm-up before the Elimination Chamber match this weekend in Las Vegas, but they witnessed two unprecedented feats by one superstar during the match too. The superstar in question? Seth Rollins. The gauntlet match began with The Kingslayer opposite his Shield brother in The Big Dog, and throughout the match, Rollins looked like his old self that was WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2015.Both Reigns and Rollins fought valiantly pulling out some epic moves during the match including The Kingslayer performing a Springboard Dive into a Superman Punch by The Big Dog which many WWE fans enjoyed, as well as a Buckle Bomb into a Superman Punch. Rollins was able to eliminate Reigns from the match with a roll-up pin.The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion next opponent in the gauntlet match was John Cena, and once again, it was another epic match. The Leader of the Cenation was almost heelish in this match, which made it easier for the fans to get behind The Kingslayer. They could even be heard chanting “Burn it Down!”Rollins managed to beat Cena with a Blackout, meaning he had just achieved something quite extraordinary. He had just defeated both Reigns and Cena, two of WWE's biggest babyfaces over the past 15 years, cleanly and on the same night after one another. Wow.

Rollins then faced Elias, but he was quickly eliminated by The Drifter, bring his time in the gauntlet match to an end after 65 minutes, which is a new Monday Night RAW record for the longest amount of time that a superstar has competed in a single match.

Despite the fact Strowman would end up winning the gauntlet match overall, there's no question about which superstar came out the strongest in this match. Matt Hardy, Curt Hawkins, Tyson Kidd and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T all commented on Rollins' performance in the match.

After the injury to Jason Jordan, many WWE fans thought The Kingslayer's WrestleMania plans were ruined, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Rollins now has some newfound momentum behind him as we approach the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania, which can only mean one thing, WWE has something big in store for him. We can't wait to see what it is.
