Eagles center Jason Kelce has certainly embraced all the fame that has come his way in the wake of his epic Super Bowl parade speech. Kelce delivered one of the greatest hype speeches of all time a little over a week ago and now he's being asked to motivate other teams in the same style. His near five minute long tirade captivated audiences around the world and his trademark underdog mentality is now being wanted by another team in Philadelphia. The Phillies asked Kelce to come down to spring training and deliver a motivational speech to their players, something the All Pro center jumped at the chance to do. New Phillies managed Gabe Kapler invited the Eagles star to speak to the team and Kelce didn't disappoint, delivering a "tremendous" speech according to Kapler:"I think there were eight to 10 takeaways and a lot of them have to do with it's OK to fall down, be fearless, get back up, be bold and do it all over again ... We feel like we're in a partnership with the city, the fans and certainly the teams," he said. "You saw it today with Jason. He was part of our family."

The Phillies will be looking to take inspiration from Kelce's words, and the incredible championship run of the Eagles, to rediscover their own winning form.

In the midst of a playoff drought of 7 years, and 10 years removed from their last world series win, they could certainly take a lot from the underdog mentality of their football counterparts.

And, it seems as though Kelce used the same style of hype speech to attempt to install that in the Phillies players, noting numerous criticisms of some of their more high profile stars.

"There's a lot of similarities, a good, young team with a lot of talent," Kelce told reporters.

"I'd be lying to you if at the beginning of the year, we were thinking about the Super Bowl. That's not what you're thinking about at that point, you're thinking about just trying to get better, to improve yourself," he said.

Phillies outfielder Rhys Hoskins said he definitely sees similarities between his team and the Eagles going into the new season:

"No one really believed in them. They were kind of underdogs all year.

"Everyone wrote them off early. He relayed that to us. There are a lot of similarities between that team at the start of the NFL season and us now. It was cool to hear that from him. Hearing his words really fired us up," Hoskins said.
