These WWE champions are missing their moments.
Those superstars are the current WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos.
They were trained by their father and former WWE star, Rikishi. This lead to the sports entertainment company signing them and were placed in WWE's developmental brand Florida Championship Wrestling in 2009.
While in the system, they became FCW Florida Tag Team Champions. Fast forward, they were called up to the main roster by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon the following year.
Since then, they have been five-time tag team champions. By breaking this down, WWE Tag Team Championship twice in 2014, SmackDown Tag Team Champions on three different occasions in 2017.
An interesting stat is that they were the first team to win both the Raw Tag Team Championship and SmackDown Tag Team Championship, which was previously known as WWE Tag Team Championship
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet noted on Twitter that The Usos have not been on the past six main WrestleMania cards. The wrestling journalist sent out the following:
“Want to know a travesty? here's the @wweusos wrestlemania history.
wm 28 : pre-show
wm 29 : not on card
wm 30 : pre-show
wm 31 : pre-show
wm 32 : pre-show
wm 33 : pre-show (ARMBAR)”
The Usos responded by stating, “No Lie,” on their official Twitter account.
What’s next for the champs? Well, the sports entertainment company has already announced their next big match.
As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Phoenix, AZ at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on the USA Network, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable faced off with The New Day.
With The New Day winning the match, they will now be challenging The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at WWE Fastlane.
WWE Fastlane is set to take place on Sunday, March 11th, 2018 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. This will be an exclusive SmackDown brand event and the final PPV event before Wrestlemania 34. Here is the updated card:
