Posh rule out move for Seagull

Peterborough manager Gary Johnson has confirmed that on-loan Brighton striker Liam Dickinson will not return to the club next season.

Dickinson was signed by former Posh boss Jim Gannon in February and scored three times in nine appearances in a generally impressive spell.

But Johnson said: "Liam has two years to run on his contract at Brighton and will return there. I have no plans to bring him back to London Road next season."

He added: "I do want to bring in a big, powerful striker though an I am on the lookout at this moment in time to see who is available."
