Something very special is happening at Liverpool at the moment. They have the world-class manager, they have the world-class players (to an extent) and week by week, they're getting the important results.Saturday's 4-1 win over West Ham fired the Reds up to second in the Premier League and they fully deserve to be where they are.Going forward Jurgen Klopp's men are nigh-on unstoppable and even defensively they've improved in recent weeks. It seems inevitable they'll finish in the top four and Klopp, speaking in his post-match conference, said they're hungry for maximum points each week until the end of the season."I don't think they care too much about us, both teams United and Chelsea, who play tomorrow," he said. "But they knew before that match that we are around."We play Chelsea late in the season, we play United in about two weeks I think, very decisive as well. But we don't have points to waste. Any opportunity, that's how it is."There's nothing not to like about this current Liverpool side and one player that's settled in very well on Merseyside is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.Having joined from Arsenal last summer, the Ox has instantly become a favourite at Anfield for his performances and mature interviews. And following the West Ham game, he once again showed why he's "one of the good guys" with a lovely gesture to some Liverpool fans.According to one Kopite (see below), Oxlade-Chamberlain actually came back out from the tunnel to take pictures before returning to the dressing room.

THE OX MAKES SPECIAL APPEARANCE

Class. It's gestures like this that epitomise the feeling of togetherness at Liverpool right now; the players and fans have never been closer.

Next up for Oxlade-Chamberlain and his teammates is Newcastle at home before hosting Porto in the last 16 second leg of the Champions League.

Then it's an important trip to Manchester United, who look like Liverpool's main challengers for second place.
