UFC lightweight champion is a different kind of guy.

Conor McGregor is no doubt the biggest MMA star in the world right now and some could argue that he’s the most popular fighter that the UFC has ever created. Most fight fans would agree with that assessment.

UFC President Dana White has made it clear in the public that he won’t beg McGregor to make a return to the world famous Octagon.

Make no mistake about it, the UFC President has no concerns about a power struggle with UFC lightweight champion as he works on getting the biggest fighter in the world back in the octagon for his next fight.

White has gone on record that McGregor will fight the winner of Khabib Nurmagomedov - interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson next. That fight is slated to take place at UFC 222.

There was some speculation that McGregor may fight his arch-rival Nate Diaz for a trilogy fight as both fighters hold a win over each other. That is not the case.

McGregor raised eyebrows last year when he declared he wouldn't return to the UFC unless he’s a co-promoter for the event.

McGregor knows how to use the media to his advance as he can twist a narrative in his favor and put pressure on the UFC to make a move. White is fully understanding of the process and said he has complete confidence a deal will come together

By looking back on the history books, McGregor usually gets what he wants when he demands it. McGregor has not been seen in the world famous Octagon since at UFC 205 when he won the lightweight title from Eddie Alvarez.

McGregor then fought in a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. The first boxing match between these fighters took place last August in Las Vegas, Nevada and aired live on PPV (pay-per-view) for the low price of $100 for HD and $90 for SD.

As seen in the fight, the UFC champion did show some good things in the ring considering that it was his first outing as a professional. However, he ultimately lost by TKO in the tenth round.

Now it seems that a rematch is just a matter of time from being made official.

This leads us to the five crazy things that the champion of the UFC’s lightweight division has done with his money. Here is the list:

#5 Bought an entire collection of cars

Some could say that you only need one cars but he has millions so why not? He has a collection of cars that includes a Lamborghini Huracan Avio, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, BMW i8, a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, a Cadillac Escalade, a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a BMW 730 Sport.

#4 Splurged on footwear

McGregor is known for dressing up and showing off his suits. He likes to be fancy and when you have money, the question remains, why not? McGregor has made his love for shoes in public. He has 750$ pair of Jimmy Choo shoes as well as 1000$ pair of Crocodile Loafers.

#3 Invested in a fur coat

As seen at many press conferences including for his fight at UFC 205 against Alvarez as well as some of his pressers for his bout against Mayweather, he has shown off his fur coat.
#2 He probably has a million dollar watch

When you are a millionaire, why not spend big bucks to tell time. At this rate, he could probably just ask someone for the time or look at his phone but some people just like bling. He has showed off his Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona watch in the past. Some of his watches are reportedly priced anywhere between 0.5-1 million dollars.

#1 Top notch suits

This isn’t a big surprise. He likes suits and wears a new one for each press conference, media related event and his fights. He is a big fan of them to say the least. Each of his suits fall in the 4000-10,000 US$ range, which to most people including myself is ridiculous and not needed but for McGregor, why not?
