Arsene Wenger's reign as Arsenal boss hit a new low on Sunday after the Gunners were comfortably beaten in the Carabao Cup final 3-0 at the hands of Manchester City.

Arsenal looked second best for virtually the whole affair and left Gary Neville fuming on commentary for their failure to even run during a cup final at Wembley.

Goals from Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and David Silva did the damage on the day and it seemed as though Jack Wilshere was the only Gunner to come out of the game with any credit for Arsenal fans on Twitter.

Wenger has now lost his third League Cup final and it seems as though the Carabao Cup will be one trophy that forever eludes the Frenchman.

Although he has one more year on his deal at the Emirates Stadium, most Arsenal fans are questioning whether he should remain in charge at all.

Craig Bellamy said in the studio after the final at Wembley that he believes Arsenal may have missed the boat on a whole host of top quality managers that have now joined their rivals.

The Welshman listed Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp and Sunday's victor Pep Guardiola as men Arsenal could have courted, but Jamie Redknapp had a different solution.

Redknapp believes that the club should do what Barcelona did with Guardiola years ago and give Thierry Henry - who was also in the studio - a chance to succeed Wenger.

Take a look at the clip below to see how Henry reacted to Redknapp's suggestion:

Henry said: "Wow, you put me on the spot like this!"

"I still have a job to do with Belgium," Henry said through laughter. "It would be a dream for me, but I'm still with Belgium."

Bellamy pressed Henry into a real answer and the Gunners' record goalscorer gave him one.

"Interested? Interested yes. Who wouldn't be? But I can't talk about that because of my respect for the man that is in charge still and the job I am doing right now with Belgium - but who wouldn't be interested?

Henry is currently Roberto Martinez's assistant with the Belgian national team, but would Arsenal fans like to see him succeed Wenger at the club? Let us know in the comments section below.
