LeBron James once again produced an outstanding performance to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 129-123 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. The King posted a triple-double of 31 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists and set a historic milestone in the process. The four-time MVP became the only player in NBA history to notch 30,000 points, 8,000 assists, and 8,000 rebounds."With the long list of so many great players that have come through this league, in the history of this league, for me to be the only (person) in a category, I think it's pretty cool," James said, per ESPN.To stand alone as the only player to accomplish such an incredible feat is a testament to how great LeBron is and what a unique talent he's been throughout his career.James also took to Instagram to describe his emotions and what this latest achievement means to him."It’s just surreal!! Knowing where I come from(the bottom). To accomplish a feat never done before in the league I grew up only dreaming that I could be apart of. WOW!!" he posted. The 33-year-old is not prepared to stop there either as he's enjoying one of the best individual seasons in his 15th year in the league. This latest triple-double against Brooklyn was his 12th of the campaign and it means that with 27.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, 10.3 assists, he has averaged a triple-double for the month of February.According to ESPN Stats and Info, he's also the oldest player to do so.

The three-time champion is having another MVP-calibre season even despite the turmoil the Cavs have been through. For the campaign, he's now averaging 26.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 8.9 assists a night for Cleveland.

After a horrendous January where they were losing at will, the franchise decided to trade six players and overhaul the roster with four new additions.

Even this change hasn't affected LBJ as he's been able to adjust and show his qualities regardless of who he has on the floor with him.

But worryingly, the superstar is having to exert more energy than he's ever done in the regular season and it could be a problem when the playoffs begin.

Before the encounter, head coach Tyronn Lue said they were becoming "too predictable" and wanted to create more offensive schemes where they don't have to rely on LeBron all the time.

As they struggled with the Nets into the final minute, they had no choice but to turn to their leader to bail them out.

His greatness continues to amaze but the Cavaliers must protect him to ensure that he still has enough left in the tank when it matters most.
