After appearing at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view to sign her WWE contract, attentions have turned to Ronda Rousey's Wrestlemania match up.

It's long been rumoured that she's going to be up against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on the big night and that storyline has already been put in motion.

During her contract signing, Rousey slammed The Game through a table and then took a slap from Stephanie, which led to a confrontation on Raw the following night.

In the segment, The Authority were able to smooth things out with their latest big signing, thanks to Raw's General Manager Kurt Angle, who lied on their behalf.

Of course, things didn't end there, with Triple H landing a cheap shot on Angle before swiftly exiting the ring, planting the seeds for a huge match at Wrestlemania in April.

And while Rousey's opponents had been rumoured for some time, her partner for the match has only just been decided.

According to Dave Meltzer, who wrote on MMAFighting.com, WWE have decided to make Angle her partner, hence his confrontation with Triple H on Raw.

"The WWE’s storylines earlier this week built this match which has been confirmed by those within the industry. It will likely be announced officially over the next few weeks.”

However, the former Olympic champion was not originally paired with Rousey, as WWE looked to make another huge name her partner instead.

According to NoDQ.com, the company attempted to get The Rock to return to Wrestlemania and face off with HHH and Stephanie alongside Rousey.

Unfortunately, they couldn't reach a deal with The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment, so it will be Angle partnering the former UFC Bantamweight Champ instead.

With WWE apparently unable to get The Rock into the ring, it's unclear if he's going to miss his second Wrestlemania in a row altogether.

In recent years, he, like many other legends have been making appearances at The Show of Shows, but last year he didn't appear at all.

And if The Rock fails to show up at the biggest event of the year for a second time, fans will surely be disappointed, especially given how much of a show he puts on everytime he's around a WWE ring.
