Norwich captain Grant Holt will be fit to return for pre-season training after undergoing an ankle operation
Holt hit 30 goals as the Canaries waltzed to the League One title and the striker will be fully fit for the Coca-Cola Championship campaign after having an operation.
He said: "We finally did the operation two weeks earlier than we might have done, which gave us two more weeks' recovery. It gives me the chance to be back for July 1, get ready for pre-season and I hope if everything goes right, I'll be good."
He added: "We'll pencil in the first week of July to have a run, to have a kick of a ball and just see how we get on from there.
"It's been tough. I've had to have days off and it's been a little bit niggly, but any footballer, when it comes to a game, you always forget about it. It feels great now - we've checked it over and it feels good."
