Blackpool boss Ian Holloway admits it would be harsh if on-loan Leicester striker DJ Campbell missed the Championship play-off final.

Campbell, who scored a hat-trick in the Seasiders' play-off victory at Nottingham Forest, would miss the final if the Foxes overturn a 1-0 deficit in the other semi-final against Cardiff.

"If we get them (Leicester) he can't play in the final. They put a very clever little clause in the deal to prevent that from happening," Holloway said. "I don't think he deserves to miss out on the final if that's the case, but that's the way it will be."

He added: "He (Campbell) looks good in our colours doesn't he? But can we afford him? Sometimes a place doesn't suit you but we seem to suit him. However, he is contracted to Leicester again next season."
