In the process, however, the Heat forward posterized two Suns players including their big man Marquese Chriss. As you can see in the tweets below, there were a couple of people inside the American Airlines Arena on Monday night that were shocked by what they had just witnessed on the court.

Several Heat players talked about the dunk to the Miami Herald after the game including Josh Richardson and Dwyane Wade.

Richardson said: "I give the dunk an 8, the celebration a 10. No, the celebration was a 9."

Wade said: “It was nice. It’s not going in my top 10. But it definitely was nice. It was sweet because we were talking about it before the game – how his hands were small. He was telling me I'm going to dunk one. I said ‘Don't worry about it.’ So it was cool to see him do that and kind of have that nice moment of a celebration at the end.

“He’s been playing well lately man. I love to see his aggressiveness out there on the floor. It’s really helping our team. Kudos to him.”

With the win, seventh seed Miami is now five games clear of the ninth seed in the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference playoff race, and both teams have 18 games remaining to play this season.

The Heat will look to extend their two-game winning streak later night when they travel to Washington to take on the Wizards.
