It was a classic case of so close yet so far for Maurcio Pochettino's Tottenham on Wednesday night as they crashed out of the Champions League to Juventus.Having come away from Turin with a 2-2 draw two weeks ago, Spurs were in a favourable position and did their chances no harm when Son Heung-min struck in the 39th minute at Wembley. But goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in the space of three minutes saw Juve take a 4-3 lead on aggregate and eventually secure their place in the quarter-finals.It has to be said that Tottenham were utterly dominant in the second leg and probably deserved to win, but experience prevailed for Juventus."I am disappointed because we missed a lot of chances and the team deserved more," said Pochettino afterwards. "The way we conceded two goals we feel disappointed."But the performance was fantastic. I am very proud. Against a very good team like Juventus we dominated - overall in the two games we were much better."But at this level in three minutes the tie went for Juventus. It was a bit unfair because to concede these two goals is tough, because until this Tottenham were much better."Spurs can certainly be proud of themselves for the way they played against one of Europe's heavyweights, yet one player has come under fire in the hours since the game.Dele Alli once again produced a shocking dive that has resulted in football fans calling for him to finally be banned - or punished at the very least. Check it out below.

As you would expect, Alli's antics didn't go down well on social media and for a split second his dive even seemed to anger Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson.

A vulgar tweet was sent - and immediately deleted - from Nelson's account describing Alli in three words: "Suck my d***."

Nelson later confirmed his account had been hacked and apologised if the tweet caused any offence, but Arsenal fans found it absolutely hilarious nonetheless.

Nelson wrote: "Sorry if the previous tweet offended anyone. My Twitter was hacked and I just got it back now. Shout out to the hacker though, you could've killed me."
