Gary Neville and Jose Mourinho don't seem to be on the same page at the moment.Neville has been heavily criticising Mourinho's United side in the past few weeks, and he was at it again following United's comeback win over Crystal palace.Despite sealing the victory with a last minute wonder-goal from Nemanja Matic, Neville stated after the game: "I've never seen a Jose Mourinho team as inefficient as this."They're always efficient teams, they always do things really calmly, they are usually solid in defence."They've got to come together quickly because they've got to finish the season strongly but, most importantly, how are they going to get to a level that competes next season with Manchester City? They are nowhere near that level out there."Moreover, Neville also reserved criticism for under-fire midfielder Paul Pogba, stating that everything he does is 'all for a YouTube or Instagram video'. None of his comments were likely to go down well with the Portuguese manager.

MOURINHO HITS BACK

And prior to this weekend's match against rivals Liverpool, it appears the Portuguese has taken a swipe back at Neville for making the negative comments about his side.

"Some of the guys with an opinion couldn't resolve their own problems when they were managers, so they are giving opinions like they have solutions for everything," said Mourinho.

"It's not like that, but they're in a position where they can give opinions about everything. Sometimes I read and listen, sometimes I don't.

"This week I was more focused on enjoying Champions League and Europa League and preparing my match than be focused on opinions."

Doesn't seem as if Mourinho took Neville's comments very kindly.

NEVILLE RESPONDS ON TWITTER

And it has not taken long for Neville to react to Mourinho's comments, using Twitter to do so.

After Rio Ferdinand goaded Neville into responding, the former United right-back wrote: "Ooooooooohhhhh!! Sensitive and touchy these super managers!!"

It's fair to say this saga has affected Mourinho a lot more than it has Neville.

Still, it isn't the classiest response by the former United man, who resorted to winding up Mourinho further, rather than replying to him seriously.

FANS HAVE TAKEN MOURINHO'S SIDE

Although it could be argued what Neville said in the first place was mostly true, the majority of Twitter users have defended the Man United boss, saying that he has no right to criticise Mourinho given his track record at Valencia.

And in truth, they're absolutely spot on.
