We have one final stop remaining before the 34th edition of WrestleMania with the SmackDown LIVE exclusive Fastlane event taking place on Sunday night.Several big matches are taking place at the event which will begin to finalise the WrestleMania 34 card in New Orleans, Louisiana. The main focus, though is on the WWE Championship match where AJ Styles defends his gold against John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a Six-Pack Challenge. While the WWE Championship is at stake, the winner will head into the Grandest Stage of Them All next month to take on the winner of the Royal Rumble in Shinsuke Nakamura - who battles Rusev on Sunday night.

FASTLANE

Although many already know the outcome of the match with The Phenomenal One said to be retaining, while Cena’s WrestleMania programme also potentially kicking off against The Undertaker, it seems like even WWE has given up on trying to keep the results a secret.

As you’ll be able to see in the tweet below, in a SmackDown LIVE live event the night after Fastlane, AJ Styles is advertised to defend his WWE Champion yet again, meaning he will leave Fastlane with his crown intact and ready to steal the show with The King of Strong Style on April 8.

In the advertisement, he has a Fatal 4 Way match planned where he takes on Owens, The Lone Wolf and Sami Zayn - with Ziggler and Cena not featured.

However, it seems like that might not be the only match that’s been ruined as the same advertisement still has Bobby Roode advertised with his United States Championship. At Fastlane, Roode battles Randy Orton for the only championship Orton is yet to win in his career.

For Roode, the rumoured plan is to have him head into WrestleMania with his United States Champion. However, on that occasion, it’s thought that he’s going to take on both The Viper alongside Jinder Mahal in a triple threat match.

While the results weren’t really in any doubt, you’d think that WWE would take extra precaution to try and not give anything away.

Fastlane isn’t exactly the most popular event of the year and by seeing these advertisements, WWE is giving their fans another reason not to watch or buy the Network to see what the outcomes will be.
