The Cleveland Browns have already made vast improvements to their roster from the one that finished 0-16 in 2017. If reports are to be believed, they're about to add another fantastic player to their roster.

During this offseason, the Browns have already executed trades for three players. They traded with the Miami Dolphins for wide receiver Jarvis Landry, with the Buffalo Bills for quarterback Tyrod Taylor, and with the Green Bay Packers for cornerback Damarious Randall.

Recent reports have suggested that Cleveland could be on the verge of adding another playmaker to their roster, as according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, free agent Carlos Hyde will be joining the team once free agency opens.

Rapoport has stated that the former San Francisco 49ers running back will be receiving a three-year deal worth more than $15 million, including $6 million in the first year. Hyde will be Isaiah Crowell's replacement in the Browns' backfield, who the team allowed to try the free agency market this offseason.

Hyde spent his first four years in the NFL with the 49ers and he rushed for just under 1,000 yards in his past two seasons. He's scored 21 rushing touchdowns since being drafted in the second round by San Francisco in 2014.

For some fans, the signing of Hyde also appears to have answered the question about the Browns using either the number one overall pick or the fourth overall pick of the 2018 draft on running back Saquon Barkley, who is arguably the top prospect in this year's draft.

While Hyde signing has taken up a spot at the running back position, reports have stated that he does not eliminate the possibility of Cleveland using one of their first two picks in the first round of the draft to take Barkley.

The Browns do have more needs to address in the draft though such as finding a franchise quarterback (as Taylor is just a stopgap), and also at cornerback, so they could pass up on Barkley to fill up those needs since they already have a good back in Hyde.

Cleveland's revamped offense now looks very exciting, as it is expected to include Taylor, Hyde, and Landry. It would be surprising now if this team fails to win a game for a second successive season.
