They may not have stepped into the same ring as one another for a fight for almost six years, but this hasn't stopped Dereck Chisora from taking a shot at his former rival and fellow Brit in David Haye.

In just over seven weeks time, Haye will step inside the ropes once more to have a boxing match against Tony Bellew at The O2 Arena in London in a rematch of their encounter in March last year, which was won via TKO by the Bomber.

The Hayemaker tried to book Chisora against Joe Joyce on the undercard for his fight later this year, but Del Boy has said he is yet to be offered the fight, saying to Sky Sports: "He hasn't offered me anything yet!" This is despite claims by Joyce who has said Chisora has rejected the fight completely.

The British boxer went on to slate Haye, saying that he needs to grow up and act his age, and he also provided a prediction of his rival's upcoming fight in May later this year.

Chisora said: "Listen, I'm just telling you now, the outcome will be the same. David Haye will talk c**p and Tony will knock him out. It's not like he's changed anything, it's David Haye.

"The guy has still got his cane rows at 37. What kind of grown man wears cane rows at his age? The only thing he's changed is he's gone to get a small, short, trainer, who is 4ft 1 and can't train a heavyweight. He can't even speak English. Tony is going to stop him."

Chisora's next fight will be next weekend on the undercard of the Dillian Whyte vs. Lucas Browne card on March 24 at The O2 Arena in London, where he will get an opportunity to rebound from his loss against Agit Kabayel in November last year in Monte Carlo.

Haye has said he will retire from boxing again if he does not deliver a spectacular performance when he faces off against Bellew later this year, so if Chisora wants to renew his rivalry with his fellow Brit inside the ring, then he better hope The Hayemaker comes out victorious on May 5.
