WWE Hall of Famer and current Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has shared a heart-touching social media about the late great former WWE champion Eddie Guerrero.

Angle made his first appearance at a professional wrestling event in 1996 with his in-ring debut following in 1998.

He signed a contract with the WWE that same year and participated in his first televised storyline in March 1999.

Angle was a six-time world champion (four reigns as WWF/WWE Champion, one as WCW Champion and one as WWE's World Heavyweight Champion), a one-time United States Champion, one-time Intercontinental Champion.

He’s also one-time European Champion, one-time Hardcore Champion and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion.

He left WWE in 2006 but returned earlier this year to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Ever since it was announced that Angle would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year, fans started speculating that he would wrestle again in the biggest sports entertainment company in the world.

However, instead of WWE booking him into a program right away, the company decided to go into a different direction with him as they fired fellow WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley as the general manager of Monday Night Raw and replaced him with Angle.

Angle returned to in-ring competition under the WWE banner at last year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view event in November. Now, he’s slated to team up with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34 in a Mixed Tag Team Match.

WrestleMania 34 is set to be held on April 8, 2018, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network and is the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history. Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured on the card.

Angle posted the following about Guerrero and their match at WrestleMania 20 in 2004 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY on his official Instagram account:

“14 years ago to this day, I shared the ring with possibly the greatest overall performer of all time, #eddieguerrero. He always had something up his sleeve, and he didn’t disappoint in this Wrestlemania Showdown. Thank you Eddie. #LieCheatSteal #itstrue.”
