Keith Southern revealed that Blackpool's Championship play-off triumph had left the players lost for words.
The 29-year-old midfielder claimed that many in the Seasiders' dressing room were left pinching themselves as the enormity of their 3-2 Wembley victory over Cardiff began to set in.
"It's really surreal at this moment in time," he told the club`s official website. "It'll be nice just to sit down in a couple of weeks and really look back and see what we've achieved. It's been one hell of a season."
He added: "The lads didn't know what to do in the changing room, they just felt like they were in a dream and somebody was going to wake them up. But it couldn't happen to a better 25, 30 players.
"We've stuck by each other all season and shown fantastic belief and ability - it's not easy coming from the play-offs. We've managed to do it and credit has to go to everyone involved.
"Are Blackpool really going to the Premier League? I mean going to Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge is fantastic for the club and the supporters in the area, something it hasn't seen for many years. I'm just really pleased to have been part of something special. I don't think I'll forget this season as long as I live."
